Building a house outside of the town removes the whole 'community' idea, it also stops ego-buildings and stops the map getting bigger, reducing the risk of getting lag. I see what you mean by everything, and I'd like to see things such as chest protection, mods like that end up breaking shit though.

Can I just point out. Just because some people move to a different settlement, it's no excuse to take all the lighting out of the previous settlement, nor mess stuff up/not clean up after yourself.

There's issues with the server at the moment, you can connect, but only within 1 minute of the server restarting. I'm sure Clavus will restart it at some point soon, so just keep your eyes open.

You connect to the server by selecting the multiplayer option, then entering the server name, left4green.com You need to buy the Beta, you can't use the free version.

Am I the only one that believed everything would be fixed in Beta, with lots of cool things added that don't fuck up?

I was at one point. I mined so far down that it was impossible to get up Oh no, this is different. Someone built a cavern at the spawn when it was possible to destroy the blocks around it. Needless to say, it's not possible anymore, and I'm in that cavern. There's no exit. Oh the creepers blew it up? Nuh, it's perfectly made, bar the hole in the top of it. It's got an door (that doesn't work) and everything.
