Make a Deathrun and GunGame hybrid gamemode. I don't know how it'll work but it sounds crazy enough to be something good.

It's a nice idea. Current system is fine though.

Making maps seems to have become pretty damn easy. Enable console, type sv_cheats 1, then asw_tilegen, load example theme, and then you can easily make quick maps. Finetune them in Hammer if you want or just play directly (be sure to have the AS SDK installed).

Just waltzt through the hard campaign with Mayco, EmRA and Oblivionaxe (my youngest brother).

Great game. I've yet to try the hard difficulty, but normal difficulty is pretty do-able if your team isn't too stupid (which it sadly often is). I'm looking forward to seeing more small games like this from Valve (which don't necessarily have to be free).

Destroying your own sappers doesn't work, Valve changed the mechanics of the 'destroy' command last month (probably for engie update). You can no longer destroy your own sappers afaik.

House maps don't suck if you do them well.

These methods have been known for some time, but as you can see it has unlimited detail but looks like shit (there are no shaders) As you can see in the video the world is static. Playing animations with point cloud data is very expensive. Their engine isn't worth much if nothing can move.
