At the moment you receive 10GC per vote, and you can vote once per day on every website mentioned above. The more you vote, the more you get

World #25. Last map we ran on Iris. Minecraft 1.3 with large biomes preset. Faction Wars with some block restrictions. The next world will run on Fenrir. world25 (720MB)

Well I didn't know about the Votifier thing until yesterday. Also there's like a dozen of those Minecraft server list websites. I'll just register on the top 5 with Votifier support, and hand out 10 GC per vote (you usually can vote only once per day).

Think I'll add Votifier to the server soon. Then people can get Green-Coins by simply voting for the server on minestatus.net and minecraft.serverlijst.nl.

Yeah I changed play.minecraft.nl to direct to the new server this morning. Some people might still have the wrong IP cached so I'm keeping the old server up for a little while, until their cache refreshes. If you really need to be on the old server for something, use iris.limetric.com to connect. I probably still have an old ops file on Fenrir, I'll add you to it later tonight.

We had to move our Minecraft server to another machine, since Iris will cease to be part of the network soon. That's why we'll soon be adopting server.minecraft.nl as our new Minecraft server address. The old address, play.minecraft.nl, will change too (the old server and map will be remain reachable for a little while longer on that address). The live map still has to be configured, so that won't be working until a later date. I've set up a new map on the new server. Updated a whole heap of plugins. There won't be any more restrictions on blocks, we're going back to standard Faction Wars. I'm not too sure how stable Minecraft will be on the new machine, so I brought the player slots back from 100 to 50, with 10 extra reserved slots for whoever bought the Green-Coins shop item. Last but not least: ALL xray bans have been revoked as of today. Seeing as there was an enormous amount of people banned for this offensive (over 750 players :/) I don't find it practical to keep it as a permanent ban. I'm not too happy with it, but I'll give it a go. DO NOTE: this does not mean we'll stop banning for xray use. You just got a second chance. Don't waste it!

I think I'll adjust my xray ban policy because this is getting stupid. I'll unban xrayers between map switches, with the exception of repeating offenders.

You know, I wonder if the server's getting empty because of the fact we have over 750 xray bans.

Sourcemod is being a bit of a bitch. Seems Sourcebans doesn't allow anyone in when I turn it on :')

Right now we have a CS:GO Classic Competitive server running, with just a few config changes: Map cycle includes all classic bomb defusal and hostage maps. Their standard variants, not their competitive *_se variants. Max rounds is 20 instead of 30. Start freeze time lowered to 10 seconds (default is 15). I don't want to wait forever to get started. You can buy the Zeus. Normally this is disabled but whatever. Discuss possible changes. I can't add the Demolition de_ maps since those don't have buy zones.

I've started working on the server restructure. We now have a Classic Competitive CS:GO server (add 87.238.175.90:27016 to favs), with the bomb defusal map cycle. Let's see if it catches on. I could make my own map group to mix bomb defusal and hostage maps, but that'll probably kick us out of the quickplay roulette, if we're part of that at all. Let's first see how it goes. TF2 Payload, TF2 MvM and Infected Wars have been removed, each for their own reasons. They had their run, we can't keep supporting them forever. Working on moving Minecraft to Fenrir. So far so good. Don't know how it'll perform once we bring more people on.

I have some ideas for overhauling the current PvP but it requires the modding API, if it gives me as much control over the games as I hope it will at least.

I'll probably get my copy sometime in the next few weeks. Planning on playing Elementalist human because I'm generic like that.
