This server is still mostly a hobby of mine. But I don't have the time to constantly provide new content, and all community initiatives to fill up that gap seem to die as quick as they're announced. Ywa was talking about taking steps further in promotion and stuff, but I don't how far he's with that. If you want to pay for promotions on the bigger server list sites, be prepared to shell out several hundreds of dollars.

I watched a few series in English in the beginning. After some time I realized the Japanese versions actually sound far more natural (and usually don't have low-rate voice actors like English dubs), that and the fact the majority of anime isn't dubbed at all. So it's basically better to watch every anime in its original language with subs. Except for Cromartie.

Votifier didn't work properly for a while due to a port issue, but that should be fixed now.

Still waiting for that promised modding API...

'Moe' is pretty much the whole cute little girls culture thing. Avoid looking it up unless you want brain damage. Reap3r should be a perfect example ().

Rockstar North has no love for the PC. It was Rockstar Toronto that made the GTA IV PC port and Rockstar Vancouver that made the excellent Max Payne 3 PC version. Those two studios are in process of merging right now.

And that's why I can't really see eye to eye with the vast majority of the (vocal) anime fanbase. Why do i imagine you wearing a top hat,monocle and twirling your curly mustache when saying that(while sitting back in a reclining leather chair). That's what I mean. The moment you claim your taste doesn't involve cutesy little girls doing cutesy little things you're suddenly a pretentious minority.

I think I've only re-watched Ghost in the Shell, Death Note and Ergo Proxy once. Oh and Cromartie High School on Youtube probably. That shit's hilarious, the English dubs make it even better.

That one was already on my list before this topic started. Just had to decide which one I wanted to start watching Just watched Sword Art Online 20. Still entertaining, but the animators couldn't resist to put some bouncing tits in there. *sigh*

Psycho-Pass is still nice after catching up to the 6th episode. Why are animes always trying to pull a Sephiroth by giving the main villain white hair.

My source says this week's Gintama was still a recap. I don't know about any show called Monsters but I do know Monster. One of the very few realistic real-world thriller shows. It's great, albeit a bit slow. It's long too.

Watched the first episode of Psycho-Pass just now. It's certainly no GitS but I guess it's interesting enough to continue watching.

Problem with anime is 95% of the series are terrible. I've got a low bullshit tolerance. Can't stand moe crap and shitty story telling. The lousy depiction of women is also something that bugs me in a lot of series, but let's not turn into moral police now. I can enjoy a series when it's not a simple money grab, but has an actual vision behind it. Too bad that great series like Ghost in the Shell or Cowboy Bebop don't come by any more. There's not much you can call a 'modern classic' :/

Changed the subscription stuff a bit. Target goals are now increments of 10 euros, and you can now directly subscribe using Paypal. Every time we have another 10 euros in the subscription, I can increase the server size with 10 slots (plus subscribers get unlimited reserved slot on top of the regular Green-Coins). I'm not expecting many people to join in (expectations were pretty much shattered this past month) but now you know what we need before we increase the slot count
