I don't why we would have to code this while you could just open up that streaming website in the background. There's really no need :/
-
We'll put up a poll later, for now it's just nominations.

Just fixed the ingame radio. It wouldn't properly loop to the next song, now it does.
-
- Radio has much more tunes. - It's awesome to listen to something else for a change. - Some of the dialogs on the radio beat boredom. - It would be an awesome add. You guys do know you can just open up a radio stream in a media player right?
-
Let me list what we have so far: Also, we're NOT going to run cracked servers.

Increased the suit drain of the vaporizer and the egon somewhat. Well, it has practically doubled. In exchange for a kickass turret, Experimentals should be more careful with their suit power

Deluvas, I love the map. There's just one problem, and that's that some spots are VERY easy to defend. One big bottleneck for zombies. I love the Resident Evil reference but the room at the end is waaaaay to easy to defend. Either make multiple entrances (make it harder for humans to see what's coming) or make it impossible for humans to stay there for a longer amount of time.

my idea ... and it was a brilliant idea.

Since the Steam community RSS is super-slow lately I'll just post it here: Up and running on the server Nerfed the turret bullet damage a bit this evening... should make it a bit easier for the undead to harm the turret's owner before getting blasted to oblivion.
-
That's why half the people start as zombie and the maps that would run it need to be custom made or hand picked.

Please suggest games that are already released, makes things a lot easier for us

We'll soon be adding a third, quad-core dedicated server to our arsenal. There's just one 'problem': not all available server spots have been reserved yet, so Ywa and I figured that the community can nominate one game we should take a server for. This game can be anything, even outside Source and Steam. First round you can nominate a game; post them in this topic. If the community isn't familiar with the game, please tell something about it. Later we'll put up a poll with all nominees. EDIT: VOTING TIME: http://forums.left4green.com/index.php?sho...c=1509&st=0

The zombies do not create any server gibs (unless you're throwing one with the poison zombie). Only humans do. And those only gib if they're hit with massive damage like by a prop kill.
-
Gibs in Infected Wars are clientside, but in ZS they are serverside because zombies can eat them. I can hardly imagine it's that. You get up to 5 of these gibs per gibbed player, and they only stick around for 35 seconds at most.

There are no attacks, the Think hook is running at a constant time frame (I benched that) and the GC system only handles it files when a player joins or leaves. As for the rest, server -> client communication in lua seems to be fine. Net_graph 3 shows an abnormal jump in entity traffic around these lag periods and I haven't got a clue what's causing it. I took this Ywa took this a few months back: You see it clearly in action here. "Other players" and "entities" suddenly claiming a lot of traffic.
