  2. The graphics look like pretty much a straight rip from Cave Story Not that that's a bad thing. I'll check this game out once I have some time. EDIT: Lol, lua code. EDIT2: Have been playing it for a while now. It certainly has the Cave Story charm, although the difficulty curve is pretty steep in the first few levels. The camera's bitchy some times.
  3. Just try to find your way around, most people here are friendly (under the right circumstances).
  4. How about dropping ammo for others or give.. You guys would be the only ones using such a system.
  5. Although I can think of a few nice systems to make the player collect ammo, they all fail because all the experienced players would whore the ammo and the new players will have nothing to shoot with. :/

  8. Because it creates the worst brush combinations possible. Always build doorways yourself by copying and resizing brushes, never carve.
  9. Just be patient, we haven't gone through the admin applications for a few months now, and it'll probably have to wait till I'm back from holidays (mid-august).

  13. IW can use all sorts of spawns. If you define team spawns, like info_player_zombie / info_player_human or info_player_terrorist / info_player_counterterrorist or info_player_rebel / info_player_combine, those will work. You can also use HL2 DM spawns like info_player_deathmatch (those are used by both teams). It's best to use deathmatch spawns in my opinion, the undead will always spawn at the one farthest away from the humans, making spawncamping impossible at the start of the round.

There is a setting on the exploit blocker tool that allows people to automatically die when they enter the square, but that setting can really piss someone off incase they walk by the thing and instantly die. use it as the last resort, like have 2 repel ones, then behind it, have one insta-kill one Rather have you placing a few good repels and only use death for really nasty spots. for the worst possible exploit places? e.g. the lights on dm_striker? Uh, if you mean those small wall lights on the wall, no, that's not an exploit. It's ONLY an exploit if they can find easy cover out of reach from the zombies. Doesn't count if they're in clear sight.
