So I just reinstalled GTASA/MTA and thought I'd take a trip down memory lane by loading up my old maps. So I came here to download them... but all the zip/rar files are empty!
Are they all gone? Is there anything that can be done?

Sorry, wasn't being rude, just thought it needed to be said as there is no need for a song to be 10mb in mta.
Anyway, I use the mac version of this free app http://www.nch.com.au/components/switchsetup.exe
very easy to use and does the job well.
I would recommend that you use these settings for songs you put into mta maps
- mp3
- CBR (Constant Bitrate)
- 96 kbps
- stereo

Every Pachanga map thats at least half the server maps
Every Yoshi map     Thats about 50 maps
 
Why?   Because every one of them is unfun and really just a waste of time to play...  Also then we could have a chance to play some of the good maps on the server instead of Pachanga race Pachanga race Pachanga race  yoshi race good race map Pachanga Pachanga Pachanga Pachanga  good map yoshi.. and so on.
 
Or why dont we we just go with if there is over twice as many dislikes as there are likes, delete the map............  Isnt that what the like system is for?

I think it would be a good move from an "encouraging-more-people-to-embrace-greencoins-and-hopefully-donate" standpoint to make all colourable vehicles the same or boringly similar dull grey/brown colour - for cars with 2 colours like the Bullet, make both colours the same too. (unless they've bought the car of course!)
Like I say I think this would encourage more people to care more about GC because the "bought" coloured cars would stand out even more than they do!

TBH I never use any other camera than the default one, but I can see how that view is not very helpful
As for GC in general I think they're all messed up.
I personally believe you shouldn't be able to change spawn as it just gives an advantage to those who can afford it.
1500 GC for one custom horn?! WFT is that all about? It's not as if it makes players think "oh well I better donate so I can have them all". For me, at least, I just think... "Well I've got one, I cant be bothered to get any more".
I also think everyone who finishes a race should be awarded at least 1GC... and the top ten should be awarded additional GC.

Finally done with this little video. Over an hours worth of footage (110GB of FRAPS recordings) compacted into a 5 minute video. Rendered 2 different uncompressed 1080p files (were about 35GB a pop), then compressed to a 500MB H.264 with Handbrake. 1080p quality is excellent.

Don't fucking raise the limit i fucking hate playing with people that have a ping over 100 LET ALONE 400- 500.
It will compltely fuck the gameplay on the server with lagging and warping cunts all over the place!
Why don't you buy some decent internet, or move to another country if you want to play on this server in particular...
There is dozens more out there that will allow you to play...
