Whilst I'd love to unban a birthday boy I don't want to unban a hacker. If your brother has a minecraft account, steal it, change his password and get even. If not, perhaps you can trade accounts with a friend? However you get a new account, please make sure only you have access to it, and do not modify the client. Happy belated birthday. AFAIK the anticheat plug-in that kicks you is a totally separate from the x-ray plug in that bans you. The two have no cross talk and don't affect your ban. That being said, anticheat seems to be on the fritz today. Clavus can check the logs and will be able to say for definite whether you were x-raying or not. I'll let him know tomorrow to check it out so you should have your response soon

I can appreciate it's annoying dude, but just bear with us it should be sorted soon. In regards to the warnings, don't worry. You can only be banned by an admin/x-ray plug in. So even if you do get kicked I won't be busting down your doors with my fap axe. No wait wrong tool. Ban hammer.

Plus one for the topic description. I've seen this first hand, gave a starving guy food to eat and he got kicked when he ate it. Some people say that it fixes when they log out and in again. Try a different food type, like pork chops. I'm interested if the anticheat plug in thinks you are illegally refilling your food bar too fast and recompensates by making you hungry or eventually kicking you. People eating melons seem to go at it all day, but the guy I gave pork chops to got kicked. I personally don't experience the issue. Of the people that do, do you have any client mods at all (obviously you wouldn't admit to hacks, but minimaps, graphical enhancements, anything other than the bog standard .jar). I'm not looking to ban you, just trying to figure out what's up.

I'm all for it on single player, and small private servers with your friends. But I feel it has taken the fun out of pvp for me, there's no 'va-va-voom' anymore. Of course this is just a curse of being a comparatively early player, all the newer minecrafters probably love the PVP because they don't know any different. I think the days of Rangers are over. I can't see us ever returning to raiding for more than 4 hours, and I can't really build anything too cool with the map being reset so often. I might just become the server's tramp and beg for iron ingots around spawn. I only give noobs iron blocks, sorry :'( If you only give noobs iron blocks... Whats wrong with giving Awesomeo iron? Members are only allowed to reply to topics when they are involved. Your warn level will be increased if you do not comply. I personally won't be unbanning him, whilst I don't have a reason he's banned, I do have word from Clavus saying he isn't getting unbanned. I'd recommend you all follow the advice of the top of the page. Thinking someone should be unbanned does not involve you in the unban/ban request unless you have evidence to support it.

You have your answer from the highest authority that you are banned, and unfortunately bans are permanent. Perhaps you could swap accounts with someone you know, or failing that, purchase a new one.

I wouldn't worry too much. A hell of a lot of reports come in but they're filtered by levels of severity, and even at the highest the most that happens is you're kicked (afaik). So far it's led me to 2 hackers, and about 10 false reports.

As I understand it, the plug in is very black and white when it comes to determining who x-rays and who doesn't. Unfortunately bans are final, and you will have to buy a new account if you wish to play on the server again. You could swap accounts with your friend who doesn't play online.

Uh wasn't that guy banned legit some time ago. Don't know for what but I do know he was banned for a reason. Also, you have been banned a lot of times for spamming. What do you do to cause it?

I'd say I've been playing for around 18 months, give or take. I am on summer vacation, and you can usually find a strong correlation between how much of a neckbeard I become and how much free time I have. And my friends, I have 16 weeks of pure unadulterated freedom. Needless to say I will be playing Minecraft more than is healthily recommended. I have a lot of ideas I'd like to implement as admin, but I don't want to bore you. So here is a brief summary: Host regular events. Increase awareness of greencoins through 'Awesomeo's Adventures' and helping people set up their account. Provide in game assistance to newer players, hopefully meaning they're more likely to return. Act as a mediator, discovering what problems people have with the server and seeing if it can be improved (duping issues, command spammers, and racially insulting themes/language) Cleaning up common areas (around teleporters) of 1x1 towers and over-griefed land. Hopefully to increase the longevity of the maps and welcome new builds. Though I'm not a common IRC monkey, I am always available through private message (I get push notifications to my phone) . And I expect that as soon as I am reunited with my gaming rig at home I will be able to be on more often. I'm a relaxed kind of guy, my teachers often told me if I were any more laid back I'd fall off my chair. Whilst this has a lot of health and safety implications, after seeing the barrages Corby endures I think it's a pretty damn essential quality for the Minecraft server. I realise that a lot of the anti-cheating side of administration is covered and new admins may not be necessary in that department - but I feel the server could benefit exponentially with just a small input from an experienced hand, that belongs to a guy that loves Minecraft and wants to help develop the community. I'll let you figure out how to do it. But it is possible, and quite simple Yeah dude, there's nothing stoping anyone doing it. But if you want to make your own quests/hunts and stuff just PM me the details and ill add a 'bounty board' or something where people can submit their own quests but just advertise it in the OP. I'll only be able to really do this once or twice a week personally. So other people contributing will hopefully keep something fresh for people to be doing whilst I'm getting my ass in gear.
