I was then gonna cum all over yoshi's entry until I read the last paragraphs, criticizing the andromeda and the utmost of sacrileges criticizing the original Never the Same map, which is like this forum's Quran. Totally unacceptable. But the rest was fapgasmic and there I was, ready to annoint Yoshi with Fap Knighthood.
NTS is supposed to annoy you. In fact in keeping with the logic of NTS sainthood, it should annoy you even more, with RC Barons, pot plants, RC cars, RC fapters, shooting tanks, shooting RC barons, you name it, there should be way more variability than there is now when awesome parts of the original NTS have been watered-down.
Trimming down NTS is like eroding our civil liberties. ''First they came for the RC cars and I didn't complain cuz I was a combined harvester. Ywa also said he's against the current implementation and Reese just made some very good points. It's a Pay 2 Win perk, which we always tried to avoid. Others perks are only cosmetical or give very minor/fun advantages that don't feel unfair.
I agree the gameplay it provides can be fun, so I'm working on a gamemode based around this perk
No one really cares about winning on mix... fire should be default on dd and especially on ctf!!
I don't see why you'd build a fire transfer mode if you don't even like it and took it away from default in the beginning to make it a perk, but if you do that could be fun. Not sure what you have in mind though and if you really have thought it up or its something for the extremely distant future...
