Yes thats still possible. Nails wouldnt help alot when you can only nail the props once.

Zs will still be there, ywa only said that deluvas wouldnt update alot. So lets keep bringing up our ideas so he can read them and maybe use them later on. Nails should break when being hit by a zombie( like 3 times) this would make it harder to barricade but still do-able for humans to barricade.

Luckily there are still lots of regulars playing. But the picking up system will never work, because zombies aren't meant to pickup items. Prop killing doesn't need a change. The squad system will prevent the mass camping, because people will get lots of disadvantages if they all stick together. You will still have camping but in an amount that it is possible to kill the humans when you are a zombie. Some maps are just so small that you have to camp in a corner instead of walking around with a group.

Pickup and throw system was totally unfair. You couldnt see if a zombie had a prop or not and it was way to easy to get a kill. Propkills have to be hard to do and not easy. I have never said that humans are OP, only medics are OP.

Yes, but that doesnt mean he has a skin thats more resistant to props.

Wtf are you talking about firehawk. Just download the doom2 wad file and download zdoom/gzdoom to play. Works full screen on windows 7. Or if you want to play online use skulltag. There is one mod thats super cool: http://aeod.forum0.net/news-f1/aeod-v5-released-04-01-10-t271.htm

Even though i propkill alot, i think the class specific dmg wouldnt be fair. All classes are human and dont have any super power so why should one get more damage than the other ? Besides The game would get to complex and zs is meant to be easy to understand.

I got lucky, because i have been commando since the beginning of classes. I completely agree that its impossible to balance the game, but make the classes atleast require some skill. Howlers and zombines dont require any skill. If you change the shooting range from howler from 360 degrees to 90 degrees it would be a very big improvement. Zombine sprint requires you to take pauses and anticipate on movements. Medics have the same issue. Zombine on its own isnt op, but requiring no skill to use it makes it op. @zad: I like people that say whats on their mind, we could use a fresh view . Class limits wouldnt really solve the medic problem, only decrease it.

Im always normal zombie and i dont play a class i think is OP. And i can still get enough kills every round to redeem, but like i said the problem is with newbies who cant kill the humans and leave. Or they leave when i kill them as a zombie. They call me cheater and leave. :S

Indeed its potential is a lot bigger than the old zs. The only thing annoying are the few balance-issues, but they dont really make the game awful. I like being zombie, because its a very big challenge to kill a human now, but there is a problem in which people leave the server because humans are to strong. They call the humans hackers and leave the server. I remember when we started the round we were with 9 people, at the end of the round we had only 3 left. Regulars shouldnt have any problems, but noobs do have. +1 for bringing back insta-kill props

Howlers arent op anymore, i can even melee them. Barricade kit should be the original one with planks only. My opinion about zombine is still a 3 second sprint.

@messy: it would only get harder for arrogant medics, others arent affected. Healing others will be the same. Zs should indeed be like zs and not zombie hunt, but people arent afraid of zombies and thats why they attack the zombies instead of trying to defense and make cades.

Why not add the headcrab on another place off the howler, much lower? xD

howler isnt OP anymore, i think they are just fine like they are right now. Zombine is in fact OP, but fixable with limited sprint. Medics are only OP when there are more than 3 medics in the same space. I think a good solution would be is to make healing yourself only possible while standing still.

The best thing for medics would be to not being able to heal while walking. Otherwise they lose a to big advantage that a medic should have. Poison zombies shouldnt be changed and necrossin convinced me that a 3 second sprint for zombine should fix the zombine problem. Deluvas is doing the right thing by balancing the game first before making leveling work. Even without leveling mr.green zs is alot better than competitors.

@messy: i only play zs on mr.green, so its also one gamemode. I cant be sure about the number, but i know i have played a lot and started playing zs from one of the first versions on nox until the version im playing now on mr.green. I have seen zs grow from beginning to what it is now and im not seeing that its worse, but i see an improvement. I have always believed that the people ruin zs and not the creator. On the contrairy he is making zs like it should be made. There will always be complainers, but i have never played a game that is being changed and updated like zs and thats why i really like playing it. Doom got boring, ut2004 got boring, but zs is still not boring to play. I have one (new) suggestion for zs: 1. Make all classes not levelable until you fixed them all. Because people complain about it and i think its unfair if one class can be leveled and the others cant.

@jeremiah: you cant play to much zs, my total hours on mr. Green is above 1000 hours and im still not bored off playing zs.

@ jeremiah: i meant the barricade kit from the zs that had no human classes and no green shop. That kit worked well. @ messy: giving starting zombies to much hp and they will be unkillable and to little and they are live targets. My suggestion was to increase pistol dmg instead of constantly changing zombies.

Welcome Jeremiah My comments on your suggestions: 1. Deluvas doesnt want to nerf zombine, but i agree with you on this 2. Grenades, snipers and 1 extra shotgun 3. Less nails would be the solution, because cades are breakable enough. 4. I agree that they should get vials instead of the kit, but its hard to find a good amount. 10 vials that heal 20 hp and that regenerate 1 vial with ammo regen would be good numbers in my opinion. Or like you said make them stand still while healing, but that doesnt really solve the problem. 5. I agree 6. Re-add the old barricading kit ( planks) that would solve the problem.

Stronger, faster and more healthy chems to be exact. Starting zombies should be strong , because they need to kill a human in a large group of humans. Pistol dmg is the problem and not the zombies. They are just to damn weak against zombies. Today i measured the exact amount of ammo needed to kill a zombine difficulty was hard and i had a m249 saw, it took me 90 bullets to kill it so almost one full clip. It takes 7 to 8 hits with hl 2 shotty to kill a zombine, in the same match i killed normals with 1 to 2 hits. :S. I miss the chems, they were the most balanced suicide class i can think off that dont ruin the game. Like i said earlier zombines make the camping worse and not decrease it. P.s: sry for complaining again, but zombines are driving me nuts. One last thing: some medics seem to get a big speedincrease , looking like speed hacks but i dont think those people use hacks. It looks like they experience lag and just teleport instead of running.

I havent bought a game in a box in years. :S. I do have an enormous collection of games, but none are special editions. I can only think of a special edition of dungeon keeper 1 which had an extra levelpack.

I will stop complaining, but just play some zs and see for yourself. I agree its their last chance, but that doesnt mean the zombine needs to be unkillable. When i see a zombine i dont even shoot it anymore because it will survive my hits anyway. I dont care if 1 zombine hits me, but i do care when they constantly keep coming and are unkillable thus killing all humans without any skill. The only way is to barricade and camp which is definately not wat you want to get while playing zs. Some people still complain about howler, but they should really be complaining about zombines. The original suicide class worked well, but zombines are just to damn healthy. I am never zombine, because its to OP. Im sure im not the only one with the zombine problem. P.s: I think you got a solution for this problem already thats why you dont nerf, but i just want you to know my opinion as the situation is atm.
