    Yeah that isnt a legal copy of CSS. All legal CSS copies go through Steam. If youve got it to play on the CSS server, or to use for GMod, it wont work. I suggest paying for it on steam, its not expensive. http://store.steampowered.com/app/240

      Did you install it on your main laptop?

      Installed it from boot from CD/DVD onto a VHD. Means its alot less laggy than in a VM, and is just contained in 1 file on your hard drive.
