One of the issues I found was that the zombie 'flash light' is really harsh on your FPS. When using it I had about 10 frames. So something isn't quite right with it.

I think its from Shaun of the Dead.

Glad to see you're making progress and having fun, if you need any help just give me a PM I'm pretty familiar with the Mr.Green base. I've made quite a few maps in the past which either weren't released or used much. I'll fish them out for you so you can launch with some new maps.

Looks cool, I did always prefer the small maps with an arcade feeling instead of the large maps. Guns for Kills was always a good system but you may need to make it obvious on the game load screen otherwise new players will just ask where the crate is all the time.

I am so busy these days I don't have much time, I think I am waiting for the next iteration of Gmod ( s&box ) and I'll try and put something together for the community.

It didn't enough popularity, and the game isn't easy to mod, or at the time it wasn't. So I called it a day a while ago as obviously thee things cost money to run and it wasn't being used.

Its very sad to say it, but I think its time to let go. No-one plays on it anymore. Everyone has moved on, but we have all made loads of friends from the community and server because of it.

I think its a good idea, the only issue is that it may be hard to create a branch due to the high level of bug fixes put in. Ie where would you draw the line. You'd also need to add a clause in the code somewhere for it to work without the level system ( Without it the gamemode doesn't run. ) i.e. before 2014. This was a fix which was added in later to make development work easier. ( I can't remember if it was a one liner or more complex, I expect there is a SVN commit somewhere which would provide a clue. ) Would you like me to give you the early 2009 version for the Mr.Green GitHub or aren't you fussed about that version?

I agree with Ben and Ywa in that there would be too much involved in bringing up the current base to the expected standards. Also it will never be as good again as we look at these things through rose tinted glasses. Let the good memories be.
