I liked our world, untill someone made this unholy huge blocky monstrosity right in the middle of the valley: Is this even allowed?

Has been settled, doesn't deserve another topic, and you know it.

Bought it together with a few friends. One of them ordered them for a decent price. We'll get the keys from him tomorrow (when the games are delivered to him) and the actual boxes the day after. But, impatient as I am, I already went ahead and pirated it to check out the singleplayer. Although the storyline is kind of confusing, all in all it's a pretty good game so far. Then again, I also liked MW2's singleplayer.

Yes. The country of Fenrir must be purified of all minecrafters not wearing hoods. IT IS A SIN Fenrir is gone... Edisor is gone, actually

I know it has been solved already but I just want to point this out. The word "nigger" is indeed in the dictionary. Let's see what the dictionary says: You win, it's in the dictionary. But the part you didn't read properly was: This is where Juggernaut wins. As you can clearly see, the word "nigger" is described as EXTREMELY disparaging and offensive. I never heard the excuse "It's in the dictionary so it's okay to say" before, but I can assure you it is absolutely not true. Anyway, Juggernaut and you apparantly resolved it, so you're off the hook. I hope it won't happen again. If it does, you know the concequences. EDIT: Just re-read the OP, and I just couldn't let this go No. "White people" is far from racist, just like the term "Black people". Same goes for "Asian". "Asian" is perfectly acceptable, just like "African American". I don't know why you added "Nazi" to the list, because "Nazi" is not a race.

Seriously though, they all look pretty good. They might also all be bitches, and I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life together with some angry bitch. Even if she's hot.

all of them

Unfortunately, we don't celebrate Halloween in The Netherlands I think I won't really be doing anything. I'll probably be playing Minecraft.

"Hot Tub Time Machine" sounds like a cheesy teenager movie with a lot of nudity and stupidity. Anyway I won't be able to watch, got to go to school from 8:00 'till 15:00 and then work 'till 23:30

Sorry for being so late. To save some time I'll steal Boter's form: Clavus' map: Pro's: - The "chaos" really jumps out - Pretty creative, must've already been confusing just to create it Con's: - Repeating textures - Might be frustrating, especially for humans Verdict: I expected an abstract map, but this map was more confusing than abstract. I had to noclip to see the part with the cilinders and to find the part with the bridges back. I don't really see this as a downside though, it takes a long time to remember the map even slightly, which gives the map a pretty long "lifetime" before getting boring. However, I think the zombies will have a huge advantage over the humans, because of the small corridors. And the confusion. I like abstract/confusing maps, but I'm not sure how it'll work out, so I'll give it a 8/10 ======================================================================== Darkness' map: Pro's: - A lot of variation in props/environments - Nice amount of props, no empty building Con's: - Still pretty blocky - Out of place objects - Lights seriously hurt my eyes Verdict: I was honestly surprised by the quality of your map (no offense). Looked pretty nice (well not the lights, they were very uncomfortable to my eyes). One of the things I didn't like was the alarm, it was very annoying and as far as I know there's no way to turn it off. I also think some objects were a bit randomly placed/out of place. There are a LOT of tires in the same room where there's some kind of generator with a lot of lights next to it for example. This seems a bit random. The laser that shoots open some door was a pretty nice touch too, but after dying a few times because I tried to crouch underneath it, it was clear the laser was useless. Pretty nice, yet not very original. I give it a 7/10 ======================================================================== Pufulet's map Pro's - Seems very balanced - Nice design - A lot of attention spent on details Con's - Some realism flaws. Is it an oil rig or just a random structure? - Small rooms might be useable for camping Verdict: Really nice map, good atmosphere. Really gives the feeling of a suddenly abandoned oilrig (?). Liked it a lot, so I give it a 9/10

Nothing very fancy, but I've been practicing with Vray a bit more today. Also made my laptop a render slave, but it failed. It's not a huge loss though, it has some old 1.8 GHz singlecore CPU and 1 GB RAM, sharing 128 MB with the GPU. Anyway, apart from the wood texture I thought this looked pretty nice:

I don't really like TF2 anymore, it has way too many features, most of which don't add anything to the gameplay. I wish we still had the good old TF2 where you could only get new weapons by getting achievements.

Mr. Darkness, I'm afraid you're also talking nonsense, about the whole "mind goes into a tunnel" thing. There is no soul, when you die your brain activity stops. Some people with near-death experiences describe it as a tunnel, some don't. It's not really a scientific fact.

I can totally respect people that believe in a God, just not when they come with bogus claims without any source backing it up. Your sources however, have been far from up-to-date or haven't been confirmed. Although in most cases you had no source. Don't get me wrong, I can only respect you for finding comfort in thinking there is a God, and finding comfort in thinking people have souls (that go to heaven). It's actually a nice thought, but you shouldn't try to back it up with scientific evidence. Because there is none. And you know that just as well as I do.
