I have been burning floating leaves because it's a pain in the ass to remove them manually. I do still remove them manually in areas with a lot of trees or buildings, because I simply don't want to risk it. That's a pretty weird comparison. A car still requires fuel to work, and that easily surpasses €1500, not to mention all the maintenance a car requires. Plus you need a drivers license, etc. If it's something you enjoy, it's not a worthless investment. If you either don't have a license, or don't give a shit about cars, a €1500 car is a "worthless investment" as well.

Because you're the only one bothered by it, and you're not even supposed to be in here Anyway, I started mining a bit. Because it's pretty dangerous (I have some shitty sword, no bow + arrow etc), I decided to put these little "safehouses" in my mine every now and then. Because I don't have the resources for a mine cart, this should hold the resources and it should be able to protect me if I'm in troube (I'm also keeping several pieces of bacon in there).

Just converted from a livestock farm to a crops-only farm. As you can see I still need to work the ground.

Started a farm with a small (still very undeep) mine next to it. I trap animals here, and I'm currently also growing some crops. I have only used the mine as a stone/coal resource so far. On the first screen, on the left in the lowest window, you can see the remains of my old farm. When I opened my door one day, there was a creeper standing next to me without me knowing. He blew up the entire house. Me included. This is my current map. My house is easy to spot because of the torches. And this is my current skin. It's very fancy.

Most people already have "~" as the console button though, it's just that Swedish people (for example) don't have this button, and they are the only ones that need to bind another button to "toggleconsole".

You already trigger sv_cheats with that command. It's best to bind it so you can turn it both on and off, especially because you can't do the "minigames" when you're a tech when in first person mode. That way you can turn it on and off easily.
