  4. Already installed SimpleGod. Everyone has godmode. End of story. I'm not touching the server again until there's an actual patch.

  6. awesomeo_5000 linked me to this little program: http://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/kc1d4/xp_orbs_broke_your_map_made_a_quick_tool_to_fix_it/ So I downloaded the map backup from the server, let the program remove all the orbs, and loaded the map back up. Also applied the jj.class thing in the minecraft_server.jar but we'll see if it works. PVP is back on.
  7. The project up till now might've claimed around 50 actually productive hours I think (and a lot more hours of procrastination).
  8. We've reached a magical point: my TODO list for the first release is empty (however the LATER category has 38 entries ). Ragnarok Conflict is getting a server. Tomorrow.   9. That's the new plugin I installed. It buffers item drops (currently max 40 active items per chunk), meaning the rest won't disappear, but they won't spawn until the number of items drops below the limit.
  10. Installed another plugin that does some other weird shit (buffers items spawned per chunk). Maybe it'll make a difference.

  13. Yeah, I noticed that issue first hand when I killed Mookey. So now we're a PVP-less Factions Wars server until the issue is fixed. The alternative would be being offline. Just go work on your base or something.
  14. Yeah no need for this. Because 1) I decide when we switch 2) We've only been playing for a day it wouldn't be that terrible 3) Server's sorta stable again so our current map is saved for now
  15. Alright, just updated to a new bukkit dev release, seems we no longer crash within the minute. However the lag is quite persistent still so we'll have to see how it develops.
  16. As I said, we "might", first I'm going to try everything I can to restore this world. But if I can't, we should at least try to see if a new world doesn't crash.
  17. We might just start a new map this afternoon. I have a feeling our previous world is beyond saving right now. Which sucks.

Well the current server time goes 1 second every 20 real-life seconds so that'd mean we'd have to wait 10 minutes
  21. Too much shittyness going on at the moment. Can't disable mob spawning for some reason. And with mobs around, we'd get the same issue with the contest map as the survival map. Nothing is fucking working today.
  22. Server is barely playable, probably because of the exp orbs. Even after restarting we're over 100% CPU. I think we'll have to wait for a patch.
  23. Fixed the link on minecraft.nl. Also the current server lag and shitty performance is probably caused by the new (pointless) experience orbs. It's listed as a major performance bug on the Minecraft wiki so I hope to see a fix soon. The Factions territory on the live map DOES update apparently, but every 30 minutes (when Factions stores its data to disk).

  25. Updated the dynmap plugin. Quite a few nice improvements. There's Faction territory support now (although it doesn't seem to be continuously updating)! Just enable it in the top left menu on map.minecraft.nl. Landmarks component broke though, will probably be replaced later.
