But the question is how long for 1.8 . Btw i think you are still able to use 1.7 maps in 1.8 but only in 1.8 generated chunks will have those awesome features. What you can do (if the server is online) when 1.8 comes out let everyone move to a newly generated place and later on remove the old 1.7 part. So people still have their stuff.

Protip: You dont need fraps for recording. You can just record a demo by typing in console: record [playername]. Where payername is just the name how the demo is called. You also can put in a date or whatever you want it to be named

I did not say it uses 500W at all the time. A high wattage PSU is made for high loads. If it does not get high loads it will use less watt But the efficiency of the PSU is just worse. Example: Computer needs 389Watt and you put in a 500Watt PSU. An good PSU has an efficiency of around 80% (If on high load). Because the diffrence is not that high the efficiency will be between 72-80% Computer needs 389Watt and you put in a 750Watt PSU. The efficiency will drastically be less you only will get to manage an efficiency of around 50-60%! That means the PSU will unnecessarily use more power than it has to use. And what happens if it uses more power that it needs? It becomes heat. And what does heat do to computers? Oh yea: Your computers is not that good that it needs a 1000W Psu it will do just fine with a 700W psu. @Below: The noise that the PSU depends on how its cooled. Because if ou have a 750W psu and there is a 80mm fan in it you could guess it makes noise. However if the fan is 120 you get a lot less noise. In this case the bigger is better.

Wrong! A PSU is not the bigger the better. A normal computer only needs about 300 watt. A gaming normal gaming PC only need 500 Watt. Only if you have 8 HDD 2(+)GFX cards and some more useless shit you need 750 Watt. Otherwise you don't! If you buy a 750Watt PSU and you only need 250 your PSU will (unnecessarily) use more power than it needs. A 750Watt PSU is built for high loads. If it does not get high loads it will (in the end) only be bad for your computer then better. Also not to forget; a lower wattage PSU will also make your PSU silenter (however you also have silent high wattage PSU. Depends on the kind fan they use(The bigger fan the better)) @The builder. Looks nice good cable management. However if you spend so much money on a good PC you also can spend 30$ on a good cooler for your CPU. Imo that looks better. And it is better for your CPU.

Hello, I havent played on the server for some time. But after a hile it got itching again. When l4g first had his surf server there was a modon it called rpg. The mod was a leveling system whith things you could buy. Like gravity so you could jump higher or speed that you walked faster or more health. Those stats had a limit so the game would not really be unfair. The low lvls got credits faster then the high ones so everyone could play with it. The server was good running and most of the time full. But after a while Ywa removed the mod and players started to lower. I still dont know why Ywa removed the mod. But it was worth it. I really hope we get this md back. I have a friend who ismakng a new rpg mod so it fully works with the updates and i thinkwe might get to use that. It also is a great way for donations. So ppl could donate and in return they get credits. It is somthing like warcraft mod but more fair and less crappy. Please only reply if you actually play on the surf server.

Well i think i beated the whole game in under 8h. And i hoped to last a bit longer then just 8h... However it is an awesome game. Funny to look at the portal 2 forum @ steam and watch all those topics how everyone is related

Hi, For school i want to get a head start with PHP (we only lean it after 2 years) because i really want to create a good PHP site. However i did read some tuts but all are very basic and not rly what i want. So i thought why dont i use some existing PHP scripts and learn from that (i did it with HTML also). In the end i want to create my very own social network site. So(....) i am in search of a Basic(!) simple social network script. All i can find is scripts what have tons and tons of shitload i dont want (something like you cant see the forest trough the trees). An i tough maybe some 1 of you guys can help me with my search.
