Also, the server does go down sometimes, it isn't going to be up every single time you want to play it .

So it's the first few days of the map in 1.4.2, I'm all excited for the new things. I spend more hours than I should have been playing grinding. Finally today I get full protection 3 and 4, and a sharpness V fire aspect II knockback II sword thanks to the anvil. I walk to the spawn across map, about to start raiding people. I walk away a hundred blocks or so, then it says my cloak dropped. I look around, see a skeleton and I relog so that I don't have to wait a minute to cloak again. Then I log in to find that it was an armor-less person who had punched me a single time after following me. I die from pvp logging and the newbie gets all my stuff then he logs out, giving me no chance to recover it. I swear this kind of thing happens like every map to me. I'm pissed.

I'm sorry to see our double grinder go, but I think having purchasable spawners is just OP no matter what restrictions are laid. Once on a server with a quadruple grinder, I might as well as had an Enderman exp farm.

The real problem is that hackers have too many alts, which they either abuse for xray or just hack the shit out of ppl with. Check the ip of the ppl you ban, if its the same in multiple accounts i think you should consider an ip ban. Though iguess its easy to bypass. It's pretty easy to bypass an Ip-ban. But it's still a good idea I think about those people that have like 4 accounts just xraying on the alts.

I think it's disgusting how blatant people are about xray these days. Like this for example:

Teleporters or maybe warp points like /spawn would be really nice. With a giant map it's awful to have to walk really far.

Factions is still great fun that lots of people like. It's a problem not with the plugin but with the server.

Maybe there could be some polls/surveys/votes on matters? I feel like the uncraftable things in the past were done without asking the players how they felt. I mean, there have been a lot of changes to this server that most players have absolutely hated like the lack of enderpearl glitching, or the brewing/enchanting/smelting fiascos. To be blunt, it doesn't matter what is more ideal or part of the "image" of faction wars. There needs to be more of a focus on what the players want and what will bring in more players, because otherwise this server is going to bleed to death.

All this loot is nothing compared to the map in 1.2.5 In LRG, I alone had like 3 or 4 large chests full of diamond loot, and so did others.

This probably took like 5 minutes to think of. Yet it points out a lot of the things wrong with the server. I think all of us want these changes. It's like the Minecraft server is abandoned by administration, nothing is done to fix it.

Yeah, this used to be my favorite server ever, but now I hardly play it, due to lag mainly. It's just impossible to PvP and everything becomes a chore when it is slowed down. Also, some change in administrative policy happened (I'm not sure exactly what), but it seems like hackers don't get banned anymore.

Those are really good points and I think that most players feel the same. Something more needs to be done.

I think players are tired of the, "Oh its stupid bukkit lagging again." The lag isn't universal between servers; I have tried several other faction wars servers, ALL of them with more people online and ALL of them with virtually no lag.

So far, I've been doing my best to remember to vote every day, but quite often, it tells me when I vote that no other players have voted that day. Maybe increase the rewards of the voting, maybe in-game materials, or more Green Coins.Or perhaps grant a more substantial prize to the weekly top voters or something. I don't know what would work best. But the point is, not a ton of people are voting, and something should be done to get the votes up.

I was the one who killed you both. That wasn't end portal camping. I used Cruxis's end portal which I do often to get to the spawn point. You two happened to be there before I even teleported. But what you didn't know was that I was using a sharpness IV sword, no surprise that you died so fast. I'm not sure what you meant by loading the map, becuase you were attacking back and almost killed me.

Yeah I thought I just caught nielsbmx 4 times with hacks. Dude, next time record without lag.. I always record at 30 fps I doubt it was lag all four times. Also FPS doesn't mean much, it's the connection to the server that does.

I cleared this in game but just to make it known to others:I'm not affiliated with this hacker in any way. I was raiding his faction HolyOrder. I don't know how we were together except when I killed him? Besides, I'm in Cruxis. Also, why did Shock120 randomly add reputation to that post lol.
