Clavus Posted July 20, 2011 Author Posted July 20, 2011 why not make the chunks 16x16x16 instead of 16x128x16, and then only render the chunks with blocks in them (aka not render the ones that only have air in them)?Air isn't rendered in the first place. The thing is, your computer doesn't know what to render unless it has all the nearby world data. The amount of world data is the issue here. Quote
