Seems the physical warfare pack is coming to everyone, after the game has been released.

Also some new pics (probably) showing the graphics.

It's proven that complaining works! (because they sure as hell weren't planned on giving the Physical Warfare pack to everyone in the beginning)

I hope the conquest maps have more than 3 outposts, I loved the maps with tons of them in BF2

Few maps from BF2 will be in BF3 like Gulf of Oman and karkand.

I think what he ment was that he hopes that the conquest maps will have more cap points. Instead of A-B-C, maybe A-B-C-D-E-F or something :)

Isn't the BF2 map thing going to be a seperate expansion pack?

With factions and weapons from bf2 and all

Yes. And it will be available for pre-orderers and normal orderers at the same time. Only difference is that pre-orderers get it for free.

The issue was that EA offered pre-order bonuses at specific retailers.

So basicly Valve was whining that they didn't get all the pre-order stuff.

There was a contract breach somewhere, we still don't know exactly where because PR people are full of bullshit. In the end I still believe Valve should stand their ground.

And "pre-order bonuses at specific retailers" was done before with other games on Steam (like Brink) so I don't see that being the problem.

Also Valve didnt agree with the terms about updates and distribution of the game as I said.
