    Well there are actually many reasons
    First of all its currently a bad economy in Russia, everything is too expensive (Cheap, meh) comparing to Europe;
    I am tired of those (to be really honest) annoying teachers, which dont know patience (here our Russian teachers are much clever, really, its easier to study (and actually somehow harder));
    Then what to say? Friends! I met people that have a good ehaviour (not like those D&G bossy idiots all over the schools);
    And ofcource, Internetz is much, much better here!
    Also comparing to Moscow, the air is more clean, less cars (GOD at last no monster traffics!!!) and most of people (excluding Arabs) are nice.

    Introduction
     
    As you may know from a few weeks ago, there were some plans for a novel zombie survival gamemode for GMod, which would replace the current one.  Unfortunately, since I was the only one working on it, time was sparse and I barely got to prototype some primitive gameplay. In the following paragraphs, I'll describe some of the things I've gone through with this project.
     
    The Catalyst
     
    The idea started from the fact that the current gamemode has been through a lot of changes and can't further cope with modifications because of its increased complexity and quality of code. Not only that, but the gamemode itself was getting duller and duller by each update. The difference between what's in my toilet before flushing and the gamemode's code and rules is non-existent.
     
    Concepts
     
    When I started working on the new mode, I thought of some crude concepts of how gameplay should .. play. One of them sounded like something out of The Walking Dead series, but it didn't live long until I realised I was just complicating the game and confusing the player. So I took something that already existed, was fun and challenging to play -- Killing Floor -- and added some features of mine.
     
    It sounds like this: human players spawn as usual, with a customized loadout based on their chosen class. These classes are four in number and are nothing like the old classes (different types of rewards, achievements, balancing etc). Just like Killing Floor, the game is divided into waves of increasing difficulty. At the end of each wave, there was the thought of adding a boss. After the final wave, the players proceed to the escape area.
     
    So where's the zombie players? I've replaced them with NextBot zombies. More over, the maps are specially modified for the gamemode, so there aren't any glitchy physics or unreachable areas. The zombies are unstoppable, .. well, actually they are. You can barricade, BUT WAIT! Remember those times where you had to move props and nail them to create a barricade? What a frustration! This mode uses pre-deployed barricades, similar to those in Call of Duty: Black Cock- I mean Zombies. This means that when you've gotten enough resources (you can gather special resources in order to solve different problems) to build a barricade, you can simply barricade a room. Oh yeah, and zombies can attack the barricades. Did I mention the weapons are also customizable? I almost forgot, hats. Lots of them.
     
    The Problem
     
    Okay, it sounds somewhat fun. So what's the problem? Currently, development has a very low priority, because I can't focus on developing long-time projects anymore. It seems that I'm going through a mid-life crisis and even though I would love to see this gamemode in action, I simply cannot. I was thinking of forwarding the concept to somebody else, but I don't know anybody who has the same vision, can be trusted and is skillful enough -- NO, NECROSSIN, I'm not going to create an elephant just so I can get its metatable -- so it's in a rut.
     
    That's kinda it. Maybe, maybe, on a sunny day, I'll start making real games, but that time hasn't come yet.

    This guy(Mert, Leqendry, AdamFake and more other names that he goes with) is the worst, Not only he spams the hell out of the chat but in game, all he does is Camp.
    I've honestly never seen him play fair. 
    And for the topic, Yes, Most of the turk players spam alot but what I hate more even though turks is the other players acting terribly rude and racist towards them, Sure they don't speak English so you have to bring the race card up and talk shit too instead of just ignoring them and playing the actual game? That's ignorant but oh well, That doesn't concerns me in anyway. The admins must do something about this little issue.
    But let me just point out that there are actually people from other country in the server that spam.
    ps. The only turks that actually speaks English and are cool are Crash, xTron, Green and Interface. <3

    Lets get this straight so we are all on the same page.
    The gmod player base is a load of shit compared to what it used to be. Any type of challenge or unbalance in the game and people run a mile. So making something from a different generation won't work anymore.
    So I think leave Deluvas zs as happy memories. Now then onto zs atm. I am still finding my way around all the files atm, its a total maze believe me you! So I have been making changes according to what issues players have currently and when I find it.
    The plan for the future is to totally over write to what gameplay is left from necro zs and create something new from it. The issue is planning it to what will work with the gmod of today, and how the system atm could be altered or changed completely to do so. I understand from your phone perspective its a mess atm. But in due time it will become something new.
    Being negative towards the people trying their hardest to make this happen for everyone! Isn't really a good idea is it? I know where your coming from, but the more time spent thinking of a solid idea the better right?
    Damien made this topic so people could contribute and help out with which direction zs is going in. At the moment I don't see any of that and I am rather disappointed.

    It's working fine for me? And I've not heard anyone else complain about it being 'broken'... considering these allegations are being made by people who either :-
     
    A) Haven't played for months (Mog being the exception as he was on the other day)
    B ) Hated what ZS was like before with the constant updates being made and thus, being stuck in the past which is hypocritical as these same people are telling us to quote on quote 'quit living in the past'.
     
    Play the server for a few hours or days, then start bitching rather than band wagoning.

    Mogadon brought up a good point, either bring back the old gamemode entirely (Not Recommended) or make something new.  Smashing in shit from the old gamemode isn't gonna work.  
     
    Deluvas ZS is dead, it's a sweet memory and it's a fun memory, but it's dead.  Work on what you have now and stop trying to rebuild memories because all you're doing is shitting on those good memories.  G4K was good yeah but you fucking broke it, HUD is broken, weapons are broken, all of it is broken all in an attempt to bring the old ZS back instead of moving forward.  Why don't you work on the one big unified class thing like when Necro was coding, or how about maybe try to balance weapons and worry about making the gamemode fucking playable before you throw shit in like new weapons and new bosses and new maps and blah blah blah bullshit bullshit bullshit.
     
    Get over the past,someone else maybe can try to recreate those memories with an entirely new gamemode but Mr Green should be moving forward to a new and improved future.  Something just as enjoyable/even more enjoyable then the past gamemode the Deluvas made.  Work on making the gamemode better, not pushing it backwards.

    Mogadon get your ass out of the past man, we arent in 2010 anymore and we will never be there again. Another thing is that the tanks im referring to is not skill difference or unlocks, but rather the fact that people can combine anything they like which make them extremely overpowered compared to classes zs where they couldnt just combine different class elements. The one thing we all agree on atleast that we need human classes, the other thing is now how it should be done. Please dont say copy deluvas zs values and copy that, but actually come with a solution that would fit current player base. The human classes i suggested are merely to show ONE possible way.
