I highly appreciate that an even older player than me took my back (kind off), I remember the times that I was a noob and Maffia (later Mungol) scared the shit out of me. At that time, there wasn't even a dynmap, but do you think it's really fair to exclude ambushes from the game ? You could get permanent cloak easily aswell, just go ahead and vote each day for the server, which might increase the players and give you free instant green coins. I don't really care what you guys even say, I know who my friends are and imo they're acting way more adult than anyone of you.
I like how they even start to blame me for recording to much hackers, but hey, if you want a full server with flyhackers, go ahead, leave the server, find another one, I don't give a crap if you have to blame me for recording to much players, that's just silly. I know it is frustrating to get killed as a noob, I've been there, believe me (Thx Mungol ), but I've caught myself giving crap to noobs and not even paying attention to anyone that has no armor.
I would love to see what would happen if all the old guys came back, yes some of them might be ignorant dickheads, but those were the times when Corby flew about and had some fun with our Scandinavian friends, the days where we all lived in fear because we couldn't check dynmap 24/7. And all this insults/(h)ackusations aren't helping anything, I know it's frustrating getting killed, I thought at first Mungol were a bunch of hackers aswell, but guess what ? There's someone better than you in a bloody game. Learn to live with it.

The real problem with the server is that there mainly noobs left. Most of the good guys is gone. ( sorry dont wanna offend anyone but theres really no one who wants to fight anymore )
Theres no way to raid without taunting and being mean to players to get em out of there base, which fucking sucks.
There is so much things who could be done to make this server better. But the admins dont ever seem to like my ideas.
Anyways i wont be playing this server anymore. Atleast not for a while.

I've been playing tons on the server,
when it laggs it's hardcore lagg but there isn't that much lagg as there used to be.

the minecraft server realy needs an active admin.
all the other admins are buzzy with other things.
so clavus can you take a look at the app.

If you're removing prot III and IV and then sharp IV and V to compensate it's just silly.
That's like removing damage potions and instan health potions to compensate.
The both excist to balance eachother.
If you're coming up with the excuse that enchanting needs an OP end grinder or whatsoever, your argument is invalid since Jeb fixed the enchanting levels so u get full prot IV after 2 hours mining or killing skeletons from a spawner for half an hour.
I say we must try out the vanilla faction wars with no restrictions, that's the reason why we have so many players.
We're one of the few servers that has faction wars and no restrictions, of cy-ourse you can change it and you'll get different players but that number of players will be lower since there're more non vanilla server than vanilla servers out there.
I think everybody is afraid that one faction will dominate again with high level weapons. And if we had a test run with this it'll be obvious that wouldn't be the case.
Oh yea, enable enderpearls next map.
Raiding ends up in glitching true the roof and getting stuck or waiting till the oponents get out of their base to spam instant damages II.

Yes minecraft is the worst game ever to have massive multiplayer pvp but it's still possible.
There are more than enough solutions to make our server run perfect but this will cost loads of money and a massive server upgrade included buying extra RAM etc.
I'm pretty sure the TC isn't looking forward to invest that much into the minecraft server so we'll have to come up with cheaper ways that will help our server out.
In my opinion the world can be even smaller. Even on this map there's still 90% unclaimed and 50% of the factions are concentrated near spawn. Making the world half as small has no down sides for now, since the decrease of players.
A decrease in player slots from 60 to 50 will mean no harm. The extra 10 VIP slots aren't needed since the server isn't full so they can be decreased by 50% (-5 slots).
As for the current plugins that are running for the server I think we're okay. We don't got fancy CPU/RAM taking plugins that have no use at all.
If ANYONE has any other suggestions please leave em on this thread. It'll help the server WAY more than just reporting it's lagging like shit 24/7.
P.s.
-As for Janitors base, I think it should be moved more towards the worlds border next map. It's peacefull territory in the middle of the map is ruining some pvp and it has no use whatever being in the middle of the map. I'm sure Minkey/Awesomeo/Whimplash wouldn't mind that the base will be moved to the side of the next map (If the map gets decreased aswell otherwise it'll do if it's just not in the middle of the map)
-Disable large biomes please. I know it looks all fancy but the current world is 60% water and swamps. Which is extremely annoying and doesn't contribute to pvp at all.
P.p.s. If I'm wrong on the plauyers slots (#amount) they can still be lowered. If it's to low you'll hear it from players complaining 24/7 they can't join the server.

If things don't work out we can go from there. But there's no point in wasting keystrokes on the same topic with exactly the same points and arguments being used over and over again.
The f-home restrictions are an interesting idea. Perhaps it could work a little like combat tag, where if you're in combat you can't go home. That would allow people to still get inside and gear up if they spot an ambush, but not hit and run constantly. I'll have a dig around bukkit later on and see if anything fits the bill (you're all welcome to help me )

The brew area is a wonderfull idea and I think this is good Only the brewing area in the south west should be more difficult : more lava ?
I think we maybe should unban the enchanting table but only ban the bookcases. In this case everybody can enchant but if you want the higher levels / the powerfull enchants. You'll need to go to the Magicans Monolith (Power besides in numbers or sth ).
I think this will fix the problem that people with no enderpearls/not much members can actually enchant.

Dude, it's meant to be like that.
You have to enable it by standing on the pressure plates which you can find in front of the broken stairs and on the 3 arms.
Only acces to the arm pressure plates are enderpearls. You'll need friends to enchant.

This ain't an example of 'professionals', the only thing I can see are four minecraft players who don't know what they're doing.
They're with 4 in a small room, this is the stupidest thing you could ever do, if you raid someone there's always someone taking point.
This is to assure that your entire team doesn't get trapped / killed by lava.
The reason why they acting like 4 chickens without a head (being random and uncoordinated) is that they aren't using teamspeak and
they haven't been playing that long otherwise they'd encountered this before and I can tell you that you'll never ever will stand with more
than 1 in a small room.
Beside that Marcus has a good enchanted armor and sword (which is a hell of struggle to get with the new Magicians Monolith).
Which makes picking off 4 players 1 by 1 without them being able to fight back easy as hell.
You'll probably disagree with me because you don't want to admit you were stupid as hell at that moment.
Or you just had luck that they were stupid enough to trap themselves in the small room.
