What has hacking to do with spamming right klicks ?
And since when did trolling get bannnable ? I don't see the point to ban someone because he throws potions at you. Yes it's annoying and if he chooses to do that he's a fucking bitch. On the other side, where can I find the rule that throwing potions at someone is bannable ?

Okay, I'm Mathijs and I'm from Belgium. I'm 16 years old since June 2012. I've been an active member of the server since minecraft Beta 1.3, around 2.5 years ago. I've been an active member of the community since 1 year ago. Tough I've got some problems with my IRC account at the moment ( Box help me ? ), I've been activilly using it for around 8 months. I play around 4 hours of Minecraft a day (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays not included.), and this can reach up to 7 hours in weekends and Fridays. With the next 2.5 months of vacation I'll be only for almost 10/7. When I'm going abroad I'll probably still be online on Steam and Skype but not in game. I know Awesomeo's admins application for the same server got recently accepted and that Corby tought Clavus wouldn't be accepting anyone for a while. Why I'm still trying my shot and what can I offer ? Like I said I'm a lot online on the server and I'm sure Awesomeo is a hard working man that can't be online 24/7. He's also working together with Dr.Minkey to start a Peacefull faction next map which will add a lot of new features to the server. I'm a lot more active in pvp and I almost know every player in game. Skype is a great source of contacts with in game players since Steam is less known to Minecraft Players. Here's an example how I'll probably be doing my work as an Admin:

With fraps running 24/7 and my dual monitor setup I try to do my work as good as possible. I keep trillian (My IRC program), Steam and Skype open at all times so I'm easily reachable. What I think I'll be doing as an admin is probably keep pvp'ing as much as possible. This is the best way to spot hackers and xrayers. Ofcourse I'll be doing the patrols Corby used to do to check if any faction has an incredible amount of stuff that's probably duped into the game. I hope I do get accepted cause I know Awesomeo is really bussy with constructing puzzles and adventure maps for the players so he can't pvp as much as he used to do. I think I'll be seen as the pvp admin (The admin that kicks all the autoklickes, JezusModders, Killauras, ... As you can see from my Ban Requests).
EDIT: I forgot to talk about if I had previous admin experiences since this is pretty important in my oppinion. I've had admin on a server (CSS) where you had to pay 5 euros a month to become admin. I bought it one month and then I got it for ever since the Head-Admin was happy with how I rolled. On minecraft I've been a chat_mod on a server which was about to kick off. But due the abusive behaviour of other Mods it kinda got a shitty server. I never got complaints about how I handled situations. Tough I'm sure that L4G mod is a way more difficult to handle then those 2 servers. That's why I waited till my 16 so I was sure that I could handle it all well.
I have resigned from both servers and I do not have any more contact with the CSS community.

This topic is, as the name says, a topic to post your videos where you record a minecraft glitch. To keep it organized I propose to EDIT your post afterwards if it's fixed by typing fixed under it in size 6, or posting another video under it if you found a way to fix the glitch
Let's start of with this glitch
I was at spawn when a noob started hitting me,
I just walk away since I dont really care but I keep getting hit.
Afterwards, the server kind of crashed.
Note: I died for pvp relogging and my shit burned in a pool of lava 50 blocks away ..

Guild Wars 2
Guild wars 2 is the new MMO from ArenaNet which will be released this year (2012). As for a lot of gaming magazines and such it'll be expected june/july tough this hasn't been confirmed by ArenaNet.
ArenaNet is trying to make a new kind of mmo with Guild Wars 2. This will hopefully be succeeded with the so called 'Dynamic Events'

Not only does this make the multiplayer experience better, you'll also never have to read a wall of text again.

Guild Wars 2 counts 5 races and 8 professions;
Mesmer
Mesmers are magical duelists who rely on deception and confusion to keep their opponents in check. Indecision is their greatest ally. Using powerful illusions to distract, they make sure they never go toe to toe with an enemy; they use their powers and tactics to set up an unfair fight.
Engineer

Dungeons
There are places in Tyria where only the most experienced, well-equipped groups dare enter. We call them dungeons, but in reality these massive, instanced adventure areas are set in a wide range of settings above and below ground. From the searing heat of Sorrow's Embrace to the grandiose halls of Caudecus's Manor to the haunted depths of the Ascalonian Catacombs, dungeons in Guild Wars 2 come in many different forms.
Dungeons are designed for teams of high-level players who must work together in order to overcome their perils. Each dungeon instance is divided into a story mode and an explorable mode. PVP
Player vs. Player games in Guild Wars 2 are easy to learn and quick to join but offer a variety of challenges for new players, casual gamers, and tournament PvPers alike.

Enormous diversity can be injected into PvP games by changing the strategic objectives—players may have to survive a strafing dragon in one match or destroy an enemy siege weapon supply depot in another. Next map it'll be fine, hell brakes lose at all ends of maps for christ sake.
You don't have to report a duping glitch because someone else then you found out how to do the trick.

If its so time consuming, and you barely play the game, why don't you find some new admins (which are needed anyway) and then eventually hand down the management of the MineCraft server to one of the admins? That is a serious suggestion,
Because, to be be blunt, you don't really seem to care about what happens with the server aside from making everything 'mediocre' and getting a few donations in the process, which is understandable - I don't think anyone would expect you too for every single game - but then if you don't care about it or want to put time into it then why try and keep full control over it? The same way that Necrossin is are more responsible for the ZS/IW stuff.
Things like the MineCraft server CAN'T be lead properly on your own, yet that is how it is done here while everywhere else has constant moderation and support to the players, to quote someone else who messaged me about this thread
and while you say you don't want to lose members, the number of players on the server has already dropped significantly compared to how it used to be so another person told me. You find it hard to find admins as it is, but how can you even CHOSE admins for your server when you haven't seen them IG? The admins recruited are always people that you know on a friendly level and so trust, but you don't know the people on the server. As before, sorry if I appear rude, but just because you own the server I don't think that instantly means everyone should agree with you. If it's going to be run as a monarchy then why bother.
