Btw, has anyone realized any meaning of the "skill level"? It changes all-the-time.

I start BC2, it says it has got lower. I start BC2 again, it has gone higher. I start BC2, it has gone lower, lower, and again higher. It changes without playing.

It changes after you have played a game.

Let's say that after you have played a good game, ended it with a good kill/death ratio, then your skill level will raise. If you chose the option "play now" then you will be put in a game where the most players have the same skill level as you have. The stupid thing about this is that almost everybody uses the server browser instead of the "play now" button.

New info about the PC patch/update.

"As long as this continues we are aiming to release on Wednesday (23rd) of next week. However this is dependant on how fast we can gain approval the patch is compliant with Steam. If that approval does not come quick enough the release will slip to the Monday (28th) of the week after (as it is a red day in Sweden on Friday next week and we don't release patches at the end of working weeks).

This does mean that SPECACT kits will not be available after patching as we had hoped but all other fixes remain as does the ability to play the new modes like Map Pack #3. "

E: STILL NO UPDATE

Bazajaytee on Twitter:

"There will be no PC patch this week, Kalms is on the case. This pushes our release to Monday next week as long as all goes well with QA/Steam :D"

New map pack which will finally contain totally new maps! As before, the map pack is free on PC, and requires the VIP-code on consoles. No release date has been published, but will most likely be withing few weeks.

The 7th map-pack contains two updated most popular maps from Bad Company 1, Oasis and Harvest Day and with those, there are also two maps taken from BC2's singleplayer; Cold War and Heavy Metal.

Its free. For everyone on PC, and on consoles for those who bought their game as new and got the VIP code in it(no special editions needed).

E: Right, you ment that should you buy the game? As Clavus mentioned, its awesome, even when played alone. And many people from the community got it so I expect that there is no need to play alone.
