Myths... The RAM works in a "hidden" mode. Your OS can only see 3.25gb but your rig would still be using 8gb. As the rest of the ram is preserved for information tranfer between components. There's no "hidden" mode, that'd be completely useless and stupid. Get a 64-bit Windows if you want to use that RAM, or just sell the useless sticks. I can recommend 64-bit to anyone that has a CPU that's capable of running it. Quote Link to comment
