I don't like shortcuts/icons

I believe it's the Frostbite 1.5 engine, where BF1943 uses the Frostbite 1 engine. Not 100% sure though.

I also like the combined indoor and outdoor combat. This was possible in BF2 too, but all objectives were outside.

Experiences so far: - Netcode is horrible. Extremely laggy. I read BF2 had this problem at release too though. - Crappy or no optimization (YET, hopefully), or the game just doesn't run on my PC. - Great gameplay. - Sounds/effects are superb. - Keys tend to stick Still BETA, so not really judging this game.

You did pre-order the game through Steam right? If so, it should show up in your "Not installed" list. Also, quote from an admin on the Steam Forums:

Just downloaded it. Restart Steam and it should show up for you. There are no keys available (yet). Steam or EA has to send them out or something.

My card is placed like that too. However, my Dell PC also had the card facing up. The motherboard was on the left side of the case and the right side had a panel you could open. I'll post some more screens soon. My PC isn't much to look at yet though

It does, but it's not as bad as smoking. When smokers () have 10 minutes to spare, they light up a cigarette. When someone who smokes weed (not a junk, just someone who smokes it to relax) has 10 minutes to spare, they don't light up a joint. Same for people who drink: They don't open up a bottle of vodka (or something they) carry around all day long for when they have time to spare. EDIT: That's about your lungs, it does cause brain damage where smoking doesn't cause as much as weed.

Smoking is pretty much the same. You smoke because you want to feel relaxed. People also drink because they want to relax, not just to get wasted. The only difference is that smoking ruins your lungs and drinking ruins your liver. I suggest you all smoke weed, it doesn't ruin your lungs because you don't do it that often (if you're doing it right) because there's no nicotin in it, it doesn't affect your mind as much as alcohol does and it doesn't ruin your liver In all seriousness though, if you like drinking or smoking it's all okay, just don't go saying "smoking is way better than alcohol" or "smoking is for dumb people" or something. It's both a different way to relax and ruin your body.

Drinking because you just want to drink or be cool (like hiding the drink from everyone, and drinking it somewhere no one can see you) is pretty stupid. Even though I like beer, I only drink when I go out, or at home when I friends over. I think my parents wouldn't have cared if I drank a beer or something in front of them when I was 14, I just don't see a reason to drink when you're 14 and alone/just with your parents.

Depends, a real "light" squeek often occurs when your GPU is rendering something at 1000 FPS or more (atleast, for me it does).

What you should do: 1. Return the PC to Acer. If it's still in warranty ofcourse. (I doubt it is, it's probably void because you put in new components, PC manufacturers DON'T like that, small things like HDD or RAM is okay, but something mayor like a motherboard isn't). 2. If this is not an option for some reason, ask people at the NVIDIA Forums. People on the Microsoft forums possibly aren't very expierenced with hardware (although I'm sure most of them are). Microsoft's own support is the last one you should contact. This is most likely a hardware problem, not OS related. 3. Can't stress this enough: Try OLDER drivers. Like the 180.XX drivers. If this doesn't work, try installing the newest drivers the clean way: - Download the latest drivers - Download DriverSweeper - Remove the drivers using the control panel in Windows - Reboot into safe-mode - Use DriverSweeper to clean the NVIDIA driver files - Reboot into Windows - Install the latest driver. DO NOT LET WINDOWS UPDATE INSTALL IT FOR YOU! Installing the drivers Windows Update gives you is never a smart thing to do.
