HSOTU is the worst anime ive ever had the displeasure to watch.

ALSO

Muv-love is surprisingly decent when there is action and not boobs /fake romance going on.

I don't think HOTD should be on that list :3 I think if you take all the awesome scenes in naruto / bleach you would hardly match the awesomeness of Steins;Gate or other good animes

Let's not totally bash his taste, even though it's true that Bleach and Naruto are the worst kind of gateway anime.

HOTD is by no means a masterpiece but I can understand why some people enjoy it.

Instead of bashing, let's guide him to the right path.

Its a good list.

The fact that CLANNAD isnt there is an insult to all GOD tier/harem/romance/drama anime.

Im going to stop there before i destroy half the list. Ill start writing my own then at some point as everything is subjective.

Because that chart was made in 2009 or 2010 if I recall correctly.

Also, I wouldn't depend on MAL's score that much. Most people just rate everything they like 10.

It's something like the metacritic of anime. Don't depend on it.

But anyway, just start with the top-rated ones on MAL or something. If all you know is Naruto and Bleach (which I've never watched ), you haven't seen anything yet.

I wouldn't recommend Eureka 7 though, the begin and ending are interesting but midway it was just PAINFUL to watch.
