I play on this other server with Red where you get like 4 diamonds/day for voting. Its purely vanilla, tbh, and I haven't seen any inbalances in play. May I mention that server consistently has 100+ people on it, From voting.

Little something about your self and why you think you're fit to be admin: For starters, I do spend a lavish amount of time in game, and I know inherently all of the other minecrafters. As a player, I have some inside knowledge. This includes knowing which players are ones to watch out for, and I would be able to monitor their operations closely. I'm pretty operative on the forums and I've been around for over a year now. If you play on the server you probably know that we need admins to interact in everyday affairs. So, I'm here to solve this dilemma. I like to take care of business, and I sense like I'm ideal for the task at hand. 
Also, I think reviewing bans is pretty fun (idk why) so all of the forum stuff wouldn't get boring. And if a player in gamer were to request for me to teleport to look at something fishy I would have no problem whatsoever. The player is most important. 
I'm currently in the faction Equalists and have been considerably trustworthy.
 
Thanks ... I won't be mad if I don't get it, but if not at least promote one to the position of admin who will actively participate on play.minecraft.nl, as this is what all of the players (including me) wish to have happen.

I know he has multiple servers to run and several projects of his own to work on. That's why we suggested for him to get another admin. These forum posts don't really do anything anyways. Sorry to bring reality but this isn't a happy world where we can do a sing-a-long and everything is just dandy. I agree that players should be more welcoming, but the fact is that people don't want to invite newbs. A lot of potential player base is lost. I don't know how many times I've seen this dialog:<new player joins game>
new player: why can't I claim land?
Experienced player: you need three ppl
New player: fuck this server
<new player leaves game>

Let's stop doing these restrictions. Vanilla Minecraft was what made this server simple and popular, and that's how it should be.

Removing the public end would basically mean the X-rayers at the start of each map control the end portal.
Why is everyone a fan of enderpearl glitching? I really don't get it. I like how it is right now.

Well, this map's slow. Pretty much every faction has quit except for a few. Can we have a map reset earlier? It would initially increase the player base, as everyone rushes to build new bases. This time, they might actually stay, because there's an updated anti-cheat plugin preventing hackers and the such.
Also, the next minecraft update focuses primarily on red-stone; I haven't seen any new blocks or terrain features that a 1.5 update would nullify a 1.4.5 map. We could just carry it through the update.
Additionally, this map's been up since September, almost three months. The outside of spawn looks like crap.
Again, this is just an idea input. We can let the server rot until 1.5, or maybe rejuvenate it now.

Mathijs is a jerk to anyone he deems "lower" than him. He flamed me for no reason randomly in chat. Later, He came to my base one day, and proceeded to flame me more hatefully, just because I wouldn't come out and fight his protection 4 butt. I don't think I even had armor at that point, which I made clear to him. According to Mathijs, if people don't fight him with nothing on, they're a bunch of scared little kids.
I don't give a crap about this flaming/ranting, but personally I think it makes Mathijs a horrible choice for admin. An admin needs to kind/considerate and have unbiased judgement. Sure he might be nice to his 'friends,' but 95% of the players on the server aren't his 'friends.'
I agree with Kitty, I stepped out of spawn at the start of this map, and within 10 seconds, Mathijs kills me. I eventually started up a mini DIRT house as a temporary shelter; I had nothing. He came with a bunch of his buddies, creeper'd into my dirt hut, and stole everything. Yeah it's a raiding server, got it. However, It's completely hypocritical for him to even start to blame other players for turning away our player-base when he's a large factor in it.
I'm glad Mathijs records hackers and attempts to ban them. I don't know why anyone would want a bunch of v-clippers flying around. I do find it funny, however, how he treats himself like an admin.
At the same time, I don't blame people for hacking. What else are they going to do when a bunch of protection 4 guys go slaughter them the second they step out of spawn? As Kitty said, we lack a "Middle Class."
