*UPDATE* 533275 is going live now. STEAM will launch later, possibly tomorrow, as it needs to go through extra QA before it goes live on Steam.

Version 522175 is going live within a couple of minutes. This has fixed the multiplayer map CTD's we experienced with 522174.

Great news: EA removes the SecuROM DRM in the Steam version of BC2 in the next patch! They're going to use Steamworks instead, which is 100x better.

It doesn't get shipped with Steamworks so no, retail keys won't work on Steam.

I just fell in love with the mounted smoke grenade launcher. That thing is so bloody useful to cross sniper infested choke points and to cover yourself while arming objectives.

I love this game. Whether you lose or win entirely depends on the team that holds the most intel and utilizes it.

Never thought I'd say this, but I like EA for removing SecuROM. Tomorrow/the coming weekend I'll play BC2 some more. I hope my connection problems are gone.
